I tend to drive my vehicles rather hard. I brake within shorter distances, speed up faster than the norm (I don't speed, I just want to get the average speed of the road faster), and tailgate a bit with senior citizens. I ran my old Ford Focus into the dirt over a period of 6 years (which cost me way to much money). Now I am considering a larger vehicle with safer rating and I am tired of paying so much for pointless repairs.
I now need to know if the 2002 Santa Fe's are right for me. I plan on having kids in a few years and I want to know that this SUV can care for me and anyone else in it.
Note: I already read a crap load of reviews, so don't tell me about this recall or that paint problem. I need to know If this SUV can take my hard driving life style.
And I tend to drive long distances a few times a year to visit family. Maybe 1400 miles 2-3 times a year, although on long trips I treat my car like gold and am very careful.
