Hi My Kia sorento has just recently started cutting out on me, I took it to my Kia dealer today to be told that it was prob needing a new fuel filter. When i called to check if my car was ready I was told that it now seems that the lining in the Fuel tank is breaking up and is causing all the problems. The car is barely 4yrs old, reg serviced by Kia and never had any problems untill now. Has anyone else had this problem? surely a fuel tank is designed to last longer than 4 years... Its not as if it was a cheap car, far from it (£19,000) Also cant find Kia customer services email anywhere. Any suggestions?
thanks for comment, i called them at theirHQ and was basically told "tough" its out of warranty and my problem.
