i've got a 1996 hyundai excel and i can't get it started what could be wrong?

it's done 240000 km and the fuel was low i drove it to work this morning and when i finished work it wouldn't start. the car turns over but it wont start

thats my problem also.but it will start after 5 to 7 minutes push of the starter button.
and this car has only 25000km on the clock.hyundai dealer has no clue what the problem is.all i found so far,that the spark plugs get no power.
at the moment i suspect the crankshaft position sensor c31.
when i take it to the NRMA,it will bloody start every time.
