I offered to take the car when my daughter no longer had a place to put it. That was 2 years ago and for some of the time it sat under a car cover. Body wise, it is in excellent condition, but the only time I started it, it blew huge plumes of black smoke and at a time when we had severe fire restrictions, someone rang the fire brigade, so I haven't started it for ages.I had intended to see what it would cost to repair so have had various quotes ranging from replacing the motor( a very expensive job!) to changing the head or just selling it for spare parts to someone else. As has been pointed out to me several times, it is a 1991 model and so we are now in 2009....so anyone out there who has a constructive suggestion, please advise ?
