A few days ago my battery and parking brake light came on. Then my headlights went out (brights and driving lights) Every now and then it beeps like I have left the keys in and opened the door. This is all when I am driving, but other than this it drives fine.
Yesterday when I pushed the brake, the radio went off, and when I let off the brake the radio came back on.
A friend of mine tested the battery and it was at 11 ( he said it should be at 14)
Could this be the alternator, or something else??

Dirty, corroded, or loose battery cables at the battery.

Sounds like you found it, it's probably just the battery. It can make things act very strangely. Cross your fingers that it's that. Odds are that it's not the alternator as you've identified the battery as being bad.
My next guess after battery or possibly the alternator is a bad situation, sounds like a car that spent some time under water. Cars hate being under water and electricity finds ways to bridge to other components in rusty wiring harnesses. If you think that might be the case there probably isn't a lot you can do as you've already bought it. There are a lot of tests you can do to find out if it's been under water. Ask a question about it on answers! to find out more.
Lets cross our fingers on that battery, eh?

bad battery...computer goes nuts whithout proper voltage...get new battery and go from there...test alternator...should put out 14.7+V
