I bought a Hyundai Tiburon GT with about 73k miles with it, and about 2000 miles later...
When I am running my engine and it gets warm, at about 1200-2400 RPM, the engine start makings a ticking sound which sounds like trying to start a car with a dead battery. As the revs go higher they just get faster and faster.
What could be the possible problems?
Before assuming it is a rod; could it possibly be the spark plugs?
The noise does not seem like a metal on metal type of knock and it is not very strong (Can not be heard inside the cabin of the car, but can be heard standing near to the front).
