I wouldn't buy one for myself, too small and underpowered. The Santa Fe is much better and more useful, if its too big then just buy an Elantra which has great gas mileage compared to any SUV and is very safe. I don't like any small SUV's, I'd rather have a wagon or upgrade to the much better mid-size SUV's on the used market for the same amount of cash.
I have owned one before, and you could not give me another one-they could not pay me to drive another one, after the first 15,000 miles-the engine starts to overheat. For no apparent reason, they start to vibrate when they get over 60 miles an hour-and the engine blocks are made of cast iron, which is about as hard as a dinner plate

My tutor has 06 Tucson GLS v6 auto..
Although its not the best looking truck to me, (personal preference) it's pretty smooth, quiet and comfortable but the thing that I liked the most is that this little thing is really roomy!!!! and you can make a bed somehow.. by adjusting front seats and rear seats which will give lots of benefits for long distance trip.
