I have a 1987 Hyundai excel GL manual what oil do I need for the transmission?

I took out the cluch and lost alot of oil

Having worked in a hyundai delership we had poblems associated with 90w gear oil too heavy we used 30w motor oil instead and resolved alot of trans shifting problems with the lighter oil no adverse effects from that change!!
