2000 Kia Sportage dipped/full beam headlight problem?

Hi there,

I'm having a problem with my 2000 Kia Sportage. My sidelights are working fine, but my headlights aren't, either on dipped or full beam. Weirdly, though, when I try to switch on the dipped headlights, the blue light on the dash illuminates to tell me I've switched on the full beam.

I've checked the fuse, but it seems to be fine. Anyone got any other suggestions?

Could be a relay or dim-dip unit fault. Should be simple fix for an electrician or anyone with a bit of electrical knowledge.
