2003 hyundai elantra rear license plate lights out?

How do I check the bulbs or check the fuse? Does anyone know where in the fuse box the fuse is for the license plate light is? I could not figure out which one it is.

The fuses are under the hood. If you open the trunk the bulbs are connected on the inside of the lid. they're are easy to change.

Easier and more likely the fuse blown
Locate the fuse for the rear license plate
If there is a similar rating spare fuse, swap with it
If no similar rating spare fuse, swap it with another similar rating fuse
Switch on the rear license plate light
If the rear license plate light still not lighted, likely the bulb has blown

Now you need to remove the bulbs and examine them
Sometimes the blown bulbs are darken, by the oxidised filament metal oxides, otherwise you see broken filament within the bulbs
Replace any blown bulbs, and test switching on the rear license plate light again
