Okay... before i start off on my justification of my opinion, I want to say that you should buy a car based on your NEEDS, and the quality of the car, and the practicality of it rather than just saying "ITS 'AMERICAN' BUY IT BECAUSE YOU'RE AN AMERICAN". When the people who are making the most money from the ordeal are taking money from tax payers, and the laborers are based in mexico, or korea, i find that car to be NOT American.

With that out of the way, i'd say the Sonota. The G6 is highly overpriced (it's MSRP new is actually worth less than it's market value). It's bad on gas, has sloppy handling, and a blah interior- not the best, but not the worst.

The Hyundai really hugs the road when you drive it, and it offers safety, style, and a few luxury quirks to it too. Plus, you get the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty to fallb ack in, just in case something does happen. The Hyundai is also really inexpensive to insure, becuase it's not a sporty car, and it's not really attractive to car thiefs either.

good luck!
