I just bought a 2004 Tiburon (6 speed, manual) with about 70,000 miles on it and it ran great for almost 2 weeks but now I'm having a serious problem with power. I dont just mean it wont hit 100+, I mean it doesnt hardly accelerate at all. I can rev it up to almost 5000 RPM in 2nd gear and not get over 30 mph, and even if I shift, I dont gain any power. I think I keep smelling a burning rubber scent coming off my car but when I checked it out, everything under the hood seems ok. It needs an oil change, I know that much, but what else may be the problem?
