i have a 2001 Kia Rio that I thought the battery went out on so I purchased a new one. Later that same week, it started having trouble with accelerating while driving down the highway. I had to park and leave it. It will accelerate in low gear but not well. The new battery was dead within 2 weeks of installing it. Any ideas on what caused this? The air filter is new also.
