Are Hyundai Sonata 2002 good cars?

Is this a good car? I plan on buying one it has 60k on it but i've been hearing horror stories about hyundai's can i get some feedback?

I dont know what other people are saying, but there are plenty of even 99' elentras driving around my town. Even more sonatas post 2000 models. My dad drivers a 2000 tiburon, and it runs very well, much better than our dodge of the same year, which broke down in 2006 (that we sold for a hyundai entourage, which is just superb in my opinion.

Do not get any hyundais prior to the 98 model year, and they tend to be unreliable. Any hyundai built after 2000 will be good.

now days, Hyundai makes better quality cars, but I wouldnt buy it if I were you, they have good warrantys but I doubt that one still does since it has 60k miles.

Once they break down, its all downhill from there, then a bunch of other problems come along here and there
