Hi
i bought this car about 5 months ago from that jack ass car dealer. I found that i need to top the engine oil after every couple of weeks. Since the time i have changed the engine oil it produces white smoke. Its too expensive to get the engine repaired. i am wondering if anybody knows about a fix that can minimise the white smoke. Also something that can maximise engine life.

Thanks

If the smoke is white and smells sweet then you have a blown headgasket. There is no cheap fix to this.

If the smoke has a bluish tint to it then your piston rings are worn out and need to be replaced and there is no cheap fix for this.

sorry

Yes unfortunately it's new engine time. You are probably better off getting rid of it as is.
An exchange engine and fitting will cost you maybe more than your car is worth.

Before you buy another car,get a male friend that has some car knowledge to go with you before you buy it, or get a mechanic to go over it for you.Never believe a car salesman.
Cars can be very expensive if you buy a bomb as you have found out.
