Would you prefer the NEW Camaro or Genesis Coupe?

I haven't driven either of them but I've seen several reviews that say if you opt for the V8 in the Camaro (or Mustang or Challenger for this purpose), the Genesis Coupe or Nissan Z simply don't have the same sex appeal and thrill of hearing that engine's deep throaty rumble when accelerating hard. I have to agree on that too. You can't beat the engine note of an American V8.

I'd take the Camaro, mainly because of the looks. There are plenty of downsides to it (huge curb weight, band corner handling, etc), but it has some upsides (great design (IMO, better than the Genesis Coupe), great motor considering a V6 gets 304hp, and it's got heritage).

Motor Trend did a comparison, the Genesis and V6 Camaro were pretty close on all counts, except they preferred the more refined, smoother shifting Camaro... One of the complaints with the Genesis was how difficult it was to shift smoothly.

when i bought my 2010 camaro (v6) i was seriously comparing it to the genesis coupe.. i must have test drove each one 10 or more times before i made my decision.. i really liked the v6 genesis coupe.. it was an extremely fun car to drive.. but in nearly every area i thought and still do that the camaro had a one up.. but you may be different go drive them both it's going to be fun either way
