On Wednesday, I was driving home from a friends and my car overheated. Smoke came from the engine. I picked up antifreeze and put it in my car on Sunday(haven't driven the car Thurs, Fri, or Sat). After putting the antifreeze in, I took it for a short drive to see if it solved the problem, but after about three minutes the car overheated again. I checked out the engine and saw that the fan is not working, could this be why the engine is overheating? Is this a costly repair? Im not very car-smart, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
