The car is a 4x4 2.5 turbo diesel year 2003 milage 50K
Its start OK...runs OK....then out of the blue engine starts to fade (loses power)..Loud drone...engine does not totally cut out, but cannot get any revs. Turn off the ignition ...immediately restarts..runs OK again...for 10 miles or 20 Miles...no exact pattern., then it happens again..I am guessing fuel pump, injector or ???? has anybody got any ideas or KIA owners...have you had this problem, what was the solution?? ... Thanks
The dealership took a look and thought it might be the turbo?...tried a couple of ideas (simulated the curcumstances when it cut out etc)....no problem. Any other ideas?
