I have a 2005 Kia optima, sometimes when I start the Kia I notice that my clock and my mile gauge will start flashing and going dim like my battery is going dead but my headlights are not dimming. When I turn the car off my trunk light starts flashing rapidly as well as the seat belt light, then I go to start the car I have no power till I punch the break peddle a few times then all power will come back with out anything dimming out or flashing. I have no idea what this could be. The car always drives fine even when this problem starts to accrue. Could this be a faulty alternator?
