My Hyundai Sonata CRTD 2.0 Diesel Automatic has only done 22,563 miles and has suddenly developed a fault. It will start up and run ok for a distance then it will suddenly stop reving. the engine keeps running but will not build revs and sometimes seems like it isn't firing on all cylinders because the whole car starts to shake. I have to stop, knock it out of gear and put my accelerator to the floor and after a few seconds it will start to rev again, then I can continue on my journey. I have tried injector cleaner and fuel water displacer to no effect. Any clues anyone?
