My 2000 Sonata started stalling if at a stopped position or if going slowly. In the winter the car would often not restart for over an hour and as the weather warmed it stalled less and less till not at all. And now as the summer is heating up it is beginning to stall again when the car is too warm (not over heating like the radiator, just sat in the sun too long). It also sometimes has a acceleration issue. I noticed this especially after having a stalling issue. I find that if it happens I can usually get going if I take my foot off the gas, tap the break and try again...can take up to 2 or 3 tries so not sure that is really helping.

Sometimes when it stalls (though not every time) the check engine light comes on. It reads trouble with "crankshaft sensor A." Have had it at several different mechanics and because it won't stall for them, they can not diagnosis it.

HELP!!!! Don't want to get rid of it if the problem can be fixed for not a lot of cash!!!
