I have a used tranny in my 2000 Hyundai Elantra . It has about 145,000 miles. This is the 3rd tranny this car has had in 10 years of ownership. Original went at about 135,000 was rebuilt and went again at about 185,000.Present tranny shifts well though with the miles it is scary to me.

The car itself runs excellent though a slight hesitation at times on the highway. This could be from plugs as they have not been replaced in a couple of years. It still gets around 25MPG with the AC going.
It does have good points besides the MPG. The only rot is some bubbleing on the hood. There is big dent from a minivan running into us and taking off that barely has any rust. It has over 240,000 miles. Newer tires, battery, half shafts, timing belt, water pump.

Should I keep it or sell it? What should I ask to sell it for?
