My car needed some oil the other day. I filled the car with oil but I'm not sure if it has anything to do with these codes:P1529 P0303. My car started shaking and blinking the check engine light and then stopped a minute later. What is wrong? And how much will it cost to fix the problem(s)?

P1529 is a code that relates to a transaxle or transmission control module issue or performance problem. 1.
This is only a request from TCM to ECM to turn the MIL on. The fault code is stored in the TCM. The Freeze Frame Data is stored in the ECM under the P1529 request code. Be sure to retrieve freeze frame data before clearing code P1529 from ECM.
2.
Check the transaxle system. P0303 is a code stating that #3 cylinder has a misfire, could be bad spark plug, ignition wire, loss of compression in that cylinder,or bad fuel injector or coil pack for that cylinder. I would check that spark plug first and see if it is fouled, gap is too wide (0.39---0.43) is recommended air gap. As far as cost goes, the transaxle issue could be expensive. a possibility of a few hundred dollars to well over a $1000+ if serviced at a hyundai dealership or other automotive service department. For the misfire issue, a few dollars if you just need to replace a plug or wire, expect at least $100+ if it is other parts related. Is the car worth the expense? Or would it be better to find another car!
