Have you kept it maintained? Regular oil changes, stuff like that?

I don't own a kia, never have and never will, but I agree with the person that said sell it. I had a classmate who have a kia and she had to spend $2000 or $3000 to replace the engine at 60,000 miles. To me, they just don't seem like reliable cars, so if you're able to, sell it before it eats up whatever you have in your wallet and in the bank. And I've seen many Kia parts on the side of the highway, so they seem to just fall apart literally from even the most minor of accidents.

Maybe I'm one of those people that never owned a Kia and you should not listen to my opinion. But try searching the phrase "Kia Crap" on Yahoo. You can find countless webpages where frustrated Kia owners have logged all their warranty repairs that have been performed.
These cars are simply not reliable, personally I would sell it while it's still in good running order and buy another car.

It will last over two hundred thousand miles with proper maintenance.

It should be OK for at least ten years and
300000 kilometres if you keep up maintenance
and dont drive too much at very excessive
speeds.
I have the new Rio 2006 and expect that much
of it despite what some people write in this site.
They probably never owned a KIA.
