were is the thermostat on a 97 kia sephia rs located 1.6 liter?

I'm preparing to put in a new thermostat but dont know the exact location of were the thermostat is. Im at work trying to fix it right now so I dont have the option of a manual and can not find anything online about it.

If anyone knows the answer to this I would apprceiate the help.
