Hey there, okay I am having TROUBLE trying to fix this problem with my 2003 Hyundai Elantra 2.0 non turbo or GLS, just plain regular engine. I had a bucking, hesitation when accelerating off a gear. Example 1st gear as I accelerated the hesitation, bucking or very mild jerking occured. Does it in 2nd and sometimes third. But does not do it any other time. Mainly when its hot this happens. okay so trying to diagnose this for a year now. I have changed spark plugs which helped for a month, Changed intake manifold gasket, did not help. Changed tps (throttle position sensor), did not help. I changed PCV valve, did not help. Checked the spark plug wires with multi meter, was not the problem. Changed oil. Checked fuel injectors with multi meter, seems fine there. Hoses seem okay. I am about to check oxygen sensor and idle control sensor, but I am at my wits end. Can anyone tell me what this might be? 97,000 miles on it. I use this to drive long distances and would like to keep it for awhile so I want to stop the little whip lashing as I accelerate, its very annoying and i think it might cause other problems, thx!!! oH, no engine light is on.
