My husband and I manage our own store and it's rare that we're able to take a vacation. But for the first time in 5 years, we managed to take off for 5 days to drive up to Denver from Austin. And in Austin there is no need for me to use winter snow tires. I have a 2007 Hyundai Accent and it has brand new 4 season tires, but doing some research this particular car does not handle well in snow/ice without proper tires. Is it worth buying 4 new tires for only a 5 day road trip that I won't need when I come back home? We're going at the end of November and they do expect snow/icy conditions. And lastly, is there any other cold weather changes I need to make to the car. I've lived in central Texas all my life and I'm clueless to what I should do.
