Hyundai Tucson versus Subaru Forester or others?

If buying a 4 cylinder, 4 wheel drive small SUV with a manual transmission...would you choose a Hyundai Tucson? Another one I'm considering is the Subaru Forester - but not the Toyota Rav4 because it's no longer available with a manual trans.
