I have a 2004 Kia Optima. It recently began shaking horribly, particularly when I am stopped at a light or stop sign. It shows trouble when accelerating, almost as if tyhe transmission is resisting. Also, when I have the keys in the ignition and I pop the hood, the engine shakes REALLy bad. What could it possibly - and more importantly how much might it cost me?
Oh, and, these problems began the day after I replaced my alternator, but after testing the alternator it read 14 and the belts are in place and functioning.
