How much would it cost to install an a/c unit in my 2010 Kia Rio?

I got this car for graduation, but it was bought as basic as it can be (standard, manual locks and windows, and NO a/c)
But it's getting really hot in Texas :(
How much would it cost for an a/c unit?

I would recommend selling that car and buying something with a/c already installed. It would be much cheaper and way easier. Not only is it difficult to find a mechanic willing to take on such a project but its going to be ridiculously expensive.
i feel your pain, i have a no a/c car myself and im living in souther florida lol
ive shopped around and done my research. its a real pain in the a$$
