All the lights on the left hand side of the car were out inc. dash & number plate lights but excl. indicators.
A friend fixed them and as soon as I pulled the car out of the drive way, the car ran really rough, blowing black smoke from the exhaust, sounded like a lawn mower, etc.
Car is only running on the 2 outer cylinders, reaches a max of 30km/h.
Checked all spark plugs, they are fine.
Changed coil pack & leads, no difference.
Battery is fine, engine is still turning over, friction point on clutch is much lower.
The car is a 2 door manual.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

And the fact is, I would rather have a qualified tradesman look at it for free than get ripped off at some place that charges probably 10 times what it's even worth when half the time the problem is still there, considering I have ALREADY taken it to get looked at in the shop and the car is still stuffed.
