I was driving home from work and my check engine light came on as I pulled onto my street. When I got home I checked all fluid levels and couldn't for the life of me figure out what was up. Having a '94 Plymouth Voyager that I've replaced everything on (as it's failed) I know many symptoms related to breakdowns, but couldn't find anything out of place with my Accent. I've got it scheduled for maintenance tomorrow but I need to pick my brother up at the airport TONIGHT which is a 2 hour drive on the freeway...so sustained rpms. Just trying to decide if it's worth the risk or if I should make other arrangements which should be fun around this time of night....
Btw, just got this Accent but already have put 19k on it and I do alot of freeway travel. Luckily I have the 100k powertrain warranty. My sister has an older accent and her check engine light came on too, but according to the dealership it was a computer glitch...
What do you think, take the risk?
