AUX input and CD player wont work in my 2003 Hyundai Elantra. Anyone know why?

The aux input and the actual CD player in my 2003 Hyundai Elantra recently stopped working. Sometimes the CD player will just eat the CD, and then spit it out a week later, and other times it reads with an Error. The actual radio is still working.

Does anyone know why this is?

I tried getting a new cord to attatch my ipod to the AUX input, but that isn't working either......

Any help woule be great! I don't want to have to get a whole new CD player!!!!
