Is the Kia Rio a good car to buy?

I am looking for a good car to buy. I want it to last me about seven or eight years. I am not looking to put heavy mileage on it, just commuting.

Its a low end cheap car. But if you buy it new and take care of it, it should do what you need it to do.

I think they have a 100,000 mile warranty on the motor & transmission now.

That wont cover things that tend to break on Kias, like door handles & stuff like that.

KIA makes a decent inexpensive car. The key to making any car last it to take care of it and don't abuse it. Regular routine maintenance will make any car last. Ignore the maintenance and I don't care what car you bought it won't last very long.
