my check engine light came on my 2007 kia spectra ex and i was wondering if you guys can give me some reasons

far to many reasons and causes for a check engine light to come on with out some kind description on how the vehicle is performing.could be something as simple as a loose gas cap by not properly tightening it the last time you fueled up
