Is there a way to wire in an adapter for iPod into the stock stereo in a

2006 Kia Spectra? I own a 2006 Kia Spectra (with stock stereo) I just want to play my iPod through the stereo speakers, headphone plug or any other way is fine. I use an iPod FM transmitter and am less then satisfied but that besides the point. Any help will be appreciated.
