My check engine light came on last night, within about 20 miles of filling my tank. I went to Auto Zone, and their scanner read P0302, cylinder 2 misfire. I changed the plugs, although the old ones were all a consistent brownish color, and none of them were at all wet. I had the plugs out within about 10 minutes of return from buying plugs. My next step was to put some injector cleaner in, and proceeded to drive about 15 miles. I'm nervous to drive it too far.
Car has 66,000 on it, and has always run great. I suspect bad gas, as when I went to buy cleaner, walmart shelves were rather bare in the injector cleaner section.
Any Ideas? How long does cleaner take to work, or if injector clogged will it ever work? Bottle says it will, but that's marketing.
Also I noticed no strange odor in the exhaust.
