So I was driving back from caly and when I pulled off I-10 and went to push the gas and had no reaction with the engine. I had been driving fine at 85 mph for about 3hrs. It felt like vaiper lock. when I put the petal to the floor it made a couple of back fires from under the hood. which sounded more like detonation then any thing else. I let it cool down and it started fine and made it the rest of the way to phoenix. Once it got off the freeway it did it again. I put the petal down a little way it will go but any more and there is a dead spot in the throatal. And if I put it all the way to the floor it makes a couple of pops and then goes all out. Not good. I know a lot about cars but I haven't found anything online about this problem. I am thinking plugs and wires, fuel pumb, PVC valve. fuel filter, timing, or some other thing. Anyway sorry about the miss spelling but let me know if you have any ideas. I will be taking it to the dealer on monday but I hate dealer ships. Have a great night
