I don't have an owners manual, so I downloaded one from the internet. However, the manual only shows intervals for the 2.7L V6 and my Optima has the 2.4L 4cyl. So do you know how often the timing belt should be changed on the 2.4L 4cyl. for '06.5 Optima?
I asked this question on a Kia forum as was told with the Optima 4cyl, it has a timing CHAIN and that it's supposed to last the life of the engine. Could this be true? I thought even timing chains had to be replaced too like timing belts?
