the other day i got into and accident, not bad enough to deploy the air bags, but the hood crinkled a little and there is a medium sized dent in the front. went over a curb. anyway, a friend told me that these newer cars have a safety fuel cutoff that automatically shuts off the fuel pump if the car experiences a degree of impact. so, i found the button to reset it however the car still won't start! the only damage i can see is cosmetic, everything else looks fine. the car turns over like it wants to start but doesn't seem to be getting fuel. is there another switch or something somewhere on the vehicle that i might need to push? if not is there anything else i might be able to do to get it to start? im trying to avoid having to have it towed to a shop if i don't need to, i will soon, but i'd rather drive it there because im in a rural area and it will cost an arm and a leg to tow. please help. any suggestions welcome. Thank you. by the way, it a 2004 kia Sorento, automatic transmission.
