I have a 02 Kia Spectra..... I have two issues that I need to take it to the mechanic about. I would like some opinions on what may be the problem and how much it may cost. My first issue is that the speedometer keeps shooting up an down. This is also causes the car to down shift. It happens on and off. I doubt it is the trans, because it shifts on its own fine. Its an automatic, not a manual. The second issue is whenever I am driving and I have to stop and my foot is on the brake the car makes alot of noise. Kind of like a rattling muffler sound. Any help on these issues is greatly appreciated.
