My biggest concern would be the Hyundai's reliability and resale value.
The Acura is going to be rock solid dependable and their resale value is best in their class. Insurance costs will probably be very comparable since both cars are similar. Before you make any final decision you need to have the car of your choice inspected by a certified technician. Run the Carfax, do your online research and have the car inspected for mechanical problems.

Acura is made in Japan
Hyundai is made in Korea In the last 3 years or so Hyundai has dramatically improved their vehicles. If I was looking for a car, I would always check Acura first before going for Hyundai. In your case, I would strongly suggest you take the car to the local car mechanic and have it inspected. Also, check the carfax report. Hyundai is newer and has less miles and if well maintained by previous owner (or owners), might be a better buy but until you do your homework, it is hard to say. Generally speaking, I'd always buy an Acura before a Hyundai....

1. which is a best overall purchase?
The Acura I think. They hold their value better, and you'll find will be much more reliable. Be sure you get a full set of records though!! If the current owner does not have service records, go with the Hyundai. 2. which is cheeper to insure and maintain? Provided they've been taken car of, The Acura will be cheaper to maintain...The Hyundai however will be cheaper to insure because of the popularity of Acuras for street racing. 3.which will give the less amount of problems Again, Acura...Hyundais are really improving their quality and the 350 is a good car, but I do not believe it's up to par with Acura. 4.is this a good deal? Either is a good deal, again provided that they've been taken car of and not abused. 5. i am open to sugestions I'd really suggest you keep your options open, and perhaps give US cars a good look. You'll get great performance, cheaper insurance, lower repair costs, and less problems! That is my honest opinion...I drive a VW Passat W8 all wheel drive , so I am not biased to US cars at all.
